That is the worst excuse I have ever read about not wanting to disclose a vin#!!! Any serious buyer would know how to spot a real CSL. Swiss cheese and RHD. Nice parts car.

At least it looks fairly unmolested. The fear of giving out the vin is silly but a lot of people are like this. Its a csl alright though.

I asked him photos and vin #.
I also made him an offer on ebay, but he canceled my bid ...
he is afraid to post pics and vin # -
very strange person!
I wrote to him to stay calm.
I said that English taxes are not office
I said I am no car thief ....
He wrote that in ingilterra is very easy to clone a car to evade taxes and tax !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
some of us can tell me if this is true csl??
some of us know the vin # cs this??

Surely someone here has been to have alook at it? I cant see anyone sensible parting wih such money on an ebay advert!
Who ever wins this will need VERY VERY deep pockets and alot of time if it is to be returned to top condition, perhaps it will be christmas treed but at £8000.00 its an expensive xmas tree IMO

I'm not sure about 2285228. My interpretation is that the seller says +228xxxx+ as to indicate a RHD 2285xxx CSL.
For CSL 2285228, I have a name and a UK owner in my register but not the colour of the car. However, there is a batch of Polaris RHD between 2285225 -2285231 and I don't think a Taiga is squezed in among these Polaris ones.

Forget about the vin#
It’s pretty much gone just a junkyard car. Shock towers are gone you can see the front fender are rusting through and rear quart-panels too and I wonder if there is still is a sub-frame and rocker panels inside there.
Aluminum doors, truck lid and hood are about all for the body that is left I would hate to see what the floor is like too. Maybe some heavy stock rims. To even really try I would say for a good shop $55K to $70K and good luck finding the parts now days.

what a ridiculous thread...you vin trackers say so many different things to so many different people it is NO WONDER they get tired of you pestering them! Even if you ALL asked for exactly the same thing in exactly the same way and reported it in exactly the same way EVERY time they'd still get sick of you chasing them.
