Bought one a couple of years ago, just now getting around to trying it out. Has anyone had any problems (leaks, etc.) with It? Is there anything I need to know? TIA

The only problems that have come to my attention were leaks. They were due to a warped filter head and using the wrong filter. I have sold over 50 of these over the years and those were the only two incidents I was made aware of

Oh I do have one left to replace a 3.5" canister. If 6 guys want to order I will have another run done. If I do that, I can have some made to fit a 4" can

Thanks…do I tighten the aluminum adapter 3/4-1 turn (like the filter) or more?

Lest anyone thinks I had problems with the adapter, I installed it today and it seems to work OK, no leaks. I tightened the adapter to the mount with a pipe wrench and left about an 1/8“ gap, then put the filter on 3/4-1 turn as usual. Thanks Bert!
