CA north coast is a magical place, especially in a fine GT.
If ya ever get a chance, check out Shelter Cove in Humboldt County, a bit farther north. The The Forth of July there is....lets say....eventful.

My business partner has a nice house in Shelter Cove and I can use it anytime I want. It's been 10 years and I've never been. 8-(
D, seriously.... get the keys for the 4th of July weekend.
4th regulars/locals 'import' fireworks that rival any small town display...and goes on for days...
Has an awesome beach with mellow surf for SUPs/kayaking/bonfires, fishing charters, golf course, sweet airstrip for those with flying machines, campground, etc....
and then there is the journey to and fro.....hhmmm...A possible Couper rendezvous with bang!
