So, I have a '73, and just removed the front bumper. When I acquired the car many years ago, the rear bumper had already been converted to a '72, so I was looking to do the same with the front (since the '72 is much more "tucked", and allows for an airdam to be installed fairly easily). Problem is (as you can see in the photos), is that the holes for the '72 brackets don't align with the subframe holes of my '73. Looking at @deQuincey photos above, his brackets are different... ...more in line with the OEM ones. My question is, do the OEM '72 bracket holes align with the '73 subframe holes? I may have to find the OEM brackets, as mine do not appear to be "original". Thanks (in advance).
