interested in this linkage for the brake vaccum

have you noticed that apart from the primary vacuum from the front carb (manifold, yeah) there is a secondary vacuum taken from the rear carb that is added to the vacuum tube ?

any thoughts ? improve braking ?

remark: if the pic is small, see it in this thread: http://www.e9coupe.com/forum/showthread.php?p=54211#post54211

In the US, the connection on the right carb and a corresponding connection on the left carb would have been for a SS EGR ( exhaust gas recirculation) system. ( Pollution control)

Yours- if that line connects after the brake check valve ( hard to see in the picture ) it would hurt both braking and the rear carb operation. It also makes it impossible to balance the carbs independently.

Mine- the right carb tap is plugged. There is no secondary vacumn line or tap other than the front carb/ manifold connection.
