Anyone know the optimum pressure for bleeding the brake system with a pressure bleeder ? - I can't seem to find the info in the blue book

Not aware of an "optimum" pressure being mentioned. Suffice it to say, too much pressure may compromise the reservoir cap gasket and you may have a mess on your hands and elsewhere.

Per the earlier response, 10 to 15 psi, seems to be the norm. Lower pressure, typically means more control (less mess) but slightly more time consuming. This is one of those procedures that can be accomplished by "feel" - especially when there is no vacuum /pressure gauge available.
