well,
it is an advert…they try to buy new cars
think that many of the possibilities are not allowed to be used: pets, women, people of different races, red flowers, sea water, babies, coffee or explosives
enithing that could be potentially offensive
probably they thought that Chris Walken was the least worse idea
i Don t envy them…

i would have loved to be around this one giving green light to this masterpiece

times have changed
Beware of fake ads on the internet, there are many.

But according to this post, there was a BMW dealer that used that line with less provocative photos.

Did like the VW ad... too bad their cars are crap these days
there are plenty that are worse ... at least theirs are relatively fun to drive. well a few, the gti and the type R. gotta love the best new version of an old car - the ID Buzz. okay it would be better if it had 21 or 23 windows.

as i was typing this the Walken commercial just came on ... still disappointing.

Like it or not, the ad did it’s job - got people talking about it around the “water cooler.”

Next metric would be to see if it moves the sales needle.

Did the Cleveland Cavs win or was it the NY Yankees?

I didn’t see it…..clearly I don’t care…. and I’m irrelevant to bmw except for the fact that they will continue to use the classic cars I love to promote their new plastic products. All in an attempt to convey a sense of historical connection to something better that what they are producing now.
