Body painted yesterday, I pick it up next Friday…
Looks great!
To say I was excited today would be a vast understatement picked up the coupe with a beautiful finished paint job and the insulation was finished today on the shop expansion today…

No Ed’s painter is a old family friend of Ed, he is not looking for painting work…I had to go 100 miles from Austin to Lake belton Texas to find a automotive painter that would paint a complete car in a reasonable timeline, Daren Rich this is a fellow I was referred to paint my 57 Chevy truck a few years back who is also well know as a pinstriper…they did a wonderful job on My car and now he has two of my friends 2002s there to paint…

I am on that one too, my bike r45 is in baikal, painted in disolvent based, perfect
curious to see this is the story now
gone to a glasurit shop they made a test spray can using color code and formulae, but now paint here is water based, color had nothing to do
maybe the light, but I see no grey in your baikal, and there is grey in the original…

Those pictures of my car are in the paint booth and it’s very bright so it doesn’t look as gray here’s a picture outside and you can see it’s darker…I used BASF paint

See two samples, the Red cross shows the wrong color, this was made with glassurit formula but Water base
Green Mark indicates the right color same fórmula done in disolvent base, this is the proper one
The coupe is resting in our house garage for the next 30-60 days to let the paint harden and out of the way of the shop addition, great progress on the shop should finished
in the next week or so…
One door install To go,
lift install is set for Monday…
