I inherited a set of 4 Alpina 7.5J x 15 wheels with my 1972 3.0 CS, and am curious to learn more about them. They are in o.k. shape but need refurbishing. One of the 4 appears to have been partially refurbished and looks to need only a coat of paint. I am trying to decide if I want to sell them, what they are worth, should I refurbish before I sell, or just keep them. I have 16" BBS RS wheels on the car now, which is my favorite look even those wheels need some refurbishment too.

These have the Ronal name stamped on the inside, and have the following stamped on the center - Alpina, 7.5Jx15H2, 3611142, (unclear symbol)40. Attached are close-up photos of the center and inside, plus a pic of one of the wheels.

Any feedback or education is greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

Were these on the car? The offset of 40 seems a lot. There are some on UK eBay with the same offset.
...
I have three of them with the offset of 15 and am looking for a 4th one!

Not that I am aware of, but the prior owner was pretty sharp so I would be surprised if he bought wheels that didn't fit. Good luck finding your 4th!
