Has anyone recently upgraded their original AC compressor? What do you suggest?

He sells a rotary "sanden style" compressor that is very affordable, and a bracket that will allow you to mount it to the original BMW bracket on your block.

I have used it and recommend it/him.

I have the original York style, did it originally come with a clutch? Also does the Sanden Rotary come with a clutch or not?

The sanden rotary sold by the ebay seller listed comes with a clutch/pulley. I don't know about the York.

With the Sanden FYI, you don't require the black "pulsation damper" bottle that looks like a second drier.
