Ok coupers: Game on....

The Rules: Doors closed. Owner's choice of either door window, engine on optional.

Start: raise window entirely to the up/closed/sealed position from completely down, then back down completely to finish. (Basically: all the way up, then back down all the way )

I think you need more "required" parameters. The engine on or off can make a huge difference, along with whether the heater blower is on high, other windows being used at the same time or any other large power draw.

Just my opinion...

Oh yeah, I think my 03 GMC Sierra windows would the slowest!

To further complicate things, there could be Stock or Modified (relays) classes.

I would time mine on a 100 degree day at 70 mph. That would give me my top speed. :)

Sounds good. Times below 8 seconds on manual windows please submit urine samples for steroid testing.

It was minus 38C a couple of nights ago where I was in Quebec. Hell no, I ain't lowering any window.
Will be rooting for DQ since he has invested some time in window perfection.

For fun I will time mine but I already know I will be the winner for the longest elapsed time. I got pulled over recently and the cop actually started laughing when I lowered my window. No kidding, my kids were in the car with me and just could not stop poking fun at me. My son is a real punk and he's like "great dad, how much did you put into this car?" "you could have at least fixed the windows", "you sure this thing is going to make it home?" Only to be out-done by my OCDDDDDDD daughter, who btw somehow has picked up on my extensive use of explicatives and other assorted adjectives.

Surely he didn't give you a ticket after all that? I've been pulled over 3 times, 3 times let off with a "nice car, be safe" or some such...

11.53 sec. Engine on, powered window. So far that's the only regulator I've cleaned, so it's the fastest by a large margin.

Fresh out of storage, battery sitting dis-connected for 3 months and no fresh charge, car not running, both sides front windows are easily 11 second up and down.
My passenger rear windo is in competition for the loudest and slowest in the west.
