Can't you tell? This is a CSL. Note the aluminum trunk.....
The pic was on FB. It was taken in 1980 in Cologne when our classic cars were just old cars. However, they were the most expensive car BMW made at that time.
This person probably had to sell his house to pay for out-of-warranty repairs....

Note also the blue Ford Granada Turnier, then the most spacious estate car. Built in Cologne 1972-77. Looks like metallic paint, the first owner must have been a snob.
