I know there are usually a lot of spotlights for sale on the forum but what are actually period correct for my 1974 E9 3.0 csi. Any advice and suggestions appreciated.
Simple answer, any lamp that was available in the early 70s. That, however, opens another set of questions; round or rectangular, above/below bumper, size, etc.
The usual suspects are Hella, Bosch, Marchal, Cibie, Lucas for us Brits.
It's all down to personal preference.
FWIW my personal preferences are above bumper, small Cibie 40.
I’ve bought some Cibie Oscars for my Escort rs1600. Repros. I think it’s got to be round and above for me. My car is Australian delivered so I lean to the English style. I’ll look at Cibie 40s. I was going to use a pair of Oscars like my rs1600 but then I thought I’d consult some wise heads first.
