Polished up some jewelry for the CS... a Texas 2002 friend knew I was looking for Serif script Roundel stuff. He sent me this vintage shift knob he recently found.

I polished it up... just needs a tiny dot of Testors blue and white :)

Do you have any photos of that installation? This sounds really interesting.
Here are some p[ics. This is not bad for a first attempt, but the dimensions are slightly out. I can swap these for slightly higher ones, which are then re-pressursied.

Best time to drive the E9 before the roads get wet!
Installed a 16" electric 3000 cfm Aux, waiting to wire it to work the A/C and Thermostat switch

Drove a 1972 Mercedes 600 SWB, stopped by the Clinton Library in Little Rock AR for the pic. Wonderful car, if you have the means, I highly recommended picking one up.

Nice. But somehow the pics came out way downsized. They are not much bigger than the thumbnails. Any way to get them to something like 800 or 900 pixels wide?

Finally replaced all front stabilizer bar bushings. Simple, effective improvement in front end handling. Took a while as bar had to be painted, misplaced fixing nuts....the usual.. but pleased with test drive ;)

Good to see Athena running with her little '02 brethren this weekend, Andrew. Thanks for making such a big effort to attend the drive. The car looks...amazing.

Arrived in NOLA for the BMW CCA O'Fest Sunday at 8pm.

Monday, went to Stevehose's and washed Athena, noticed passenger front tire was almost flat. Went to Al & Al's One Stop Tire Shop, was a loose valve stem nut. $5.00 later I'm back on the road. Then spent a few hours detailing in the parking garage.

Went back to Steve's, fixed the passenger side seatbelt, that mysteriously fell apart in Texas, and driver side reverse light.
