type/brand of brake fluid

Ive searched the forum for the type of brake fluid to use, but have not been successful, except for a reference to DOT 5 silicone. Is any DOT 4 fluid appropriate. Thanks

Just use Dot4, it helps to switch between the Ate super blue and the Ate gold so you can tell when the old fluid is out.
