So the stalk has recently developed a glitch—the directionals work fine, but the entire assembly seems wobbly, and every time the car hits a bump the high beams come on. Its gotten to the point where I have to jam a wadded up piece of paper between the stalk and steering column housing to prevent this from happening. I've never had this apart; is it more of an issue than just a loose fastener? Thanks.

I would remove the steering wheel and bottom cover first to see if the two screws are loose. Then you'll know if its the stalk itself.

Len,

Guess I forget, just had the NK covers off and it is 90% coupe. Take the bottom off as suggested and see if you can get to them.
