I am replacing both cables for my electric sunroof. The cables have a felt on the inside of the shroud but don't seem to have any kind of lubrication. Should I spray them with lube or are they good as is?

Thank you in advance.

i ran mine thru a plate of graphite
carefully as its a super messy job if not done slowly.
ALSO IF THEY ARE NEW
you need to brase them with a propane torch or they are way too tight
at least if its elec hand would still be tuff

Jake, are you getting yours from W&N? I could not find them elsewhere and they are not cheap at over 100 bucks for each side.

Hi Bob,
I got mine from W&N a few months ago. They are pricey but I had a broken one so I needed to do it.
