I am at the point now where I can't drive my manual shift coups anymore
so I have decided to sell both. Go to the CS Registry and search for vin number
2270173 to view both cars. I have driven the blue one for the past 45 years and have
owned the red one for 32 years. The blue one was restored 9 years ago and has very
minimal rust, the red one was restored twelve years ago and has zero rust.
Red has 3.5 engine and 5 speed. Blue 3.6 s38 91 M5 engine, 5 speed and LS diff.
My problem is how much to ask for each or a package price for both. any Ideas.

The acceleration in second, third and fourth gears is unbelievable quick. First gear is useless, it revs to 8000 rpm
before the pedal hits the floor. I usually start in second gear shift to third then straight to fifth gear. Top speed using
Turner Chip and GPS is estimated to around 168 MPH. The speedometer only goes to 150.

Very hard to sell as a package. Although a buyer usually comes out ahead if one is able to.

Just a SWAG:

red: $48k. Have to see engine compartment.

blue: $55k depending on amount of rust. Engine compartment needs a repaint it appears.

@GolfBavaria has a great idea. Sell one and use the proceeds to have an automatic installed in the other. The cars are rolling art and would be almost as enjoyable!

Would consider converting to automatic if I could find a six or eight speed auto that would fit.
Then I would have to deal with the computer controls. I have enjoyed these coupes for a very long time
but it's time for the grown up kids to leave home.

BTW. the red has won best in show three times and the blue
has won twice.

The Blue engine bay needs to be power washed and cleaned, but is solid. Just do not have
the energy to keep it spotless anymore.
