okay guys, i'm cutting out my panel (based on the drawing i have posted a pdf of) ... and i'm wondering if i should bother to cut the two round holes that access the license plate bolts. since i am going to cut new elephant skin, i am tempted to just eliminate the holes ... so if i need to remove the license plate panel, i would take off the elephant skin panel.

anybody know of any reasons of why i shouldn't eliminate them?

delete the holes

hi, i deleted the holes, so my new elephant skin lays flat and continous in that area,
i can see no reason not to do it this way, in my case the license plate is riveted to the body in that area, but even if it wasn't i would have deleted the holes, in the rare event of having to change the license plate i would undo the three bolts that maintain the panel fixed to the car and i would operate the bolts
regards

thanks for the response ... it just seems like a better idea and would look better. i just couldn't think of a reason not to delete the holes.
