I am refinishing some 15' OZ alpinas that I just received from Bert on this forum. Am hoping these will be the Goldilocks solution for me, not too big (16") or too small (14" and no tire selection) for my taste, but instead just right.
Anyway, in reading all of the various online posts for painting with Wurth, there is no mention of sanding the paint between coats - apparently the metal flakes tend to "stand up" and produce a rough texture.
Does this roughness go away when clear coating or should I knock it down with some 1500 or so grit before the clear? Or would this dull it too much? What say the experts?
