Anybody know what the gas cap is in this photo? It looks larger than the usual 2". We are replicating this setup in the Martini Group 2 car, with a modern fuel cell inside an enclosure that will look like the big endurance racing auxiliary tank (the picture is of the Martini E12, sister car to the CSL). Would like to find a cap like this. Thanks!

It looks like the cap used on a 356A Porsche. These have their fuel filler mounted at the top/center of the tank, and you need to raise the hood to access the filler.

I like Strato102's solution better than the one I suggested. I have no idea where you would get a filler neck compatible with an early Porsche cap, other than by cannibalizing an early Porsche fuel tank.
