French not being my first language (or second, or third), do they really only expect 70-80k euros for this? Or is that a low value intended to hype up interest? I'd be surprised if this went for that little, unless there's something I'm not seeing.

Hard to imagine anything much south of 100k euros... assuming correct items and original engine in place.

Still not convinced the first 169 are fully appreciated when compared to the Bat variety so this will be interesting. Again, so much depends on the venue, other cars and the buyers who show.

This one very well could have been on the assembly line with mine back in 1971.

Indeed an interesting Auction,

I'm pretty sure the CSL will catch the estimated value in a couple of seconds when the Auction starts. Then, is the question how high it will go. Of course, under the condition, that the car is a solid CSL.

Interesting to note the color variations from the assembling line:

2211713 - Inka
2211714 - ?
2211715 - Colorado
2211716 - ?
2211717 - Inka
2211718 - Golf

CSL-color on demand during 1971.

Cheers
Henric

I haven't been able to find the hammer price on this one or anything from this auction. Does anyone know if it sold and for how much?

Thanks- Richard
