Hello and welcome! I am certain I will have issues, and look forward to learning anything I can from your experience. That is a great collection of cars you have - almost exactly me "dream garage". Pictures go over very strong here :D Would love to see your cars.

@zinz is a great resource for the 2000CS
I have a '98 M3 sedan, but will likely be selling it soon. Great car!!!

Welcome. Lots of knowledgeable folks on here, not including me. I was in Denver this past weekend and seem to end up in the Denver/Boulder/CS area a few times a year for work and pleasure. I've always wanted to meet the folks at Glen Shelly's and explore the Bimmer world there, but I've never had the time for car stuff. Close friends have a place in Boulder and are about to retire there, so I'm hoping to get out more.

I would think a hopped up 2000 CS would be a gas to race.

that was done race craft , the shop in washington built a race car out of a pristine 2000cs and tried to race with 2002 s it too heavy to compete, thats why they lengthened it for the m30, I built a 2000cs with 1800 tisa parts in 1979 with a overdrive 320 trans in 1980, 15 inch bbs rims, about 165 hp I had it about 120 mph, sold it to buy first house, this one i have now is going to be a resto mod, s54 six, 6speed, e24 suspension front and rear 5 lug disk brakes, stock body and interior, you will not be able to tell unless you lift the hood , I am building a 1985 745 i engine to put in my euro 635, estimated 500 hp at the wheels, a modern alpina b7s , 1980 that was 330hp, restoring a 1999 m3 and a 1972 2002tii now, lots of projects plus fixing cars thats what keeps me getting up in the morning Bruce M Tuner

Just reading about m30 blocks on this site lots of miss info I was building 3.5 out of 3.0 cs s and Bavaria’s in 1980s I did a Bavaria that out ran a 1972 911s the guy raced me twice from a red light to get his ass handed to him doing a lot of research on m49 and 2 valve race motors, Josef schnitzer designed all the modern m motors m88 s38 s14 just look at the schnitzer formula 2 a 2 piece head not one piece as the m49 and every one above him took credit.
