Ditto! I especially like the e3 2800! I’m the same way with e24’s. I prefer the e12 based e24 over the e28 based version.

I think that the recent Paul Cain 2800CS sale was a good seed for folks thinking about valuation of the earlier cars.

Talk to Mario or Chris at Vintage Sports and Restoration in NH. They can help locate a car. You can strip it all down and then send the shell to them for painting and any rust repair (there will be some). Then you re-assemble. This is what Stan did more or less.
