New CS Member need help

Hi everyone, it's my first post,I recently bought a 74 cs auto& a 81' 633csi standard off a friend. Two weeks ago, I remove the a/c blower under the dash(disconnect a few wire ) ,after that my tachometer not working. My second questions with my 633csi, I am thinking of dropping the whole drivetrain into the CS.How easy or difficult? Is there any write-up that I can follow. what should I keep from the 633csi for the CS. Thanks in advance.
