Ditto above times 5...A 1970 Nevada 2002 in 1972. Living for the moment, I really regret not taking pictures.

02 street smarts early...

Double ditto...69 Manila yellow 2002 with a 2nd gear crunch, and a not very quiet Stebro exhaust, $10 8-track player,...bought for around $1200 if I remember correctly, and sold for $1400...to buy a 72 Riviera blue 2002 with a SUNROOF! What could be more cool...Still the same disease 42 years later...

1973 2002A Malaga/Tobacco with a sunroof. 'Harry Smith' 1989-1994. Worked for Domino's Pizza in college '89-'90 so that paid for gas, repairs and a new engine. Elements took their toll.

i started driving cars at 12, not legally, but, my first one was a seat 600, then a seat 850,

later, at 18, inherited from my father a seat 131, a burd style copy of an e3 or e12, but compared to prior ones was a blast, i knew nothing about hiw to handle a rear driven car in rain, so the fun lasted only two years

and finally my frist own car, a lancia delta HF integrale in red colour, i am still surprised i wasnt killed in that beast, i was only 20

then six years later i become an Opel guy for some years taking advantage of the company cars, tigra, astra, vectra,...a new one every year

and then finally moved and stuck in audi

the coupe is my one and only contact with the bavarian brand,...

First car that I was able to drive was my Dad's '98 528i 5spd. Had a lot of fun in that car when I was a teenager.

The first car I had with my name on the title was a 1992 GTI 16V. Great car.

'73 Dodge Dart coupe passed down to me with
(1) Bullet-proof 6 cyl engine
(2) Uncanny ability to rust.
Maybe I've come back in a circle

I started with Detroit Iron...1966 Malibu SS Convertible. Too much fun for a high school boy.

The first car that I registered was a 1964 Malibu SS coupe. I swapped the 194 CI 6-cylinder for a 360 HP 396, then a 375 HP 396, then a 450 HP 454. Disk brakes were installed after the first V8 swap. When I started commuting to college I installed a little 283 CI V8. That was a real performance disappointment, but it got a lot more than 14 MPG on the highway.

First Car

76 2002 purchased in 1981. Anthracite grey with tan interior. Drove it hard until 1988 and replaced it with a brand new red Alfa Milano 3.0. Good times.

My father gave me his 69 Mustang in 73 to drive when I was high school and I still remember being followed very closely by a 2002 and not being able to loose it on the twisty roads in Connecticut......... so a few years later right after College, the first car I ever bought was a used 75 2002.

We may have started with the same first car. Mine was a black 1976 Alfetta GT.

The Alfa club...

Verde2002,

Very cool. I remember the spica injection, campagnolo alloys, and center tach really made an impression while I zipped around B- roads. I sold mine less than six months later--for a '63 factory soft-top Landcruiser fj40...I guess I was trying to avoid speeding tickets which worked for while...

Regards,

MF

82 Sirocco with 68 brake hp. And an 85mph speedo.
Never got any tickets.
Sold it when it developed leaks behind the dash that no one could fix.
