This is what I believe is a license plate light for the E9/E3, I am actually pretty confident it fits both cars but the very intelligent people of this forum will correct me if I’m wrong. Anywho, it looks like it’s in pretty alright shape, the rubber on one side is a little ugly, but it’s more than useable.

Location: Central New Jersey

Shipping: I think probably $5, perhaps less. Shipping will be insured, and tracking number will be provided. Same day shipping!

Condition: Looks pretty okay to me!

Price: wildcard once again. idk just make an offer lmao

do not believe this is an e9 light. it is similar but this is domed side to side where the e9 piece is flat up front and raises in the rear to throw light forward to the license plate
Hmm I think it might be based on this link https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rahmen-Sch...446055?hash=item3fd1d6aa27:g:z-cAAOSwA9tdVlQ-
there were also a number of links from a google search entirely in German with "E9" in the caption and photos of the same type of license plate light o_O hmm

Haseeb, the light you have does fit in the hole, but I don't think it is exactly what was on the E9s. As noted above, the E9 Hella fixture looks like a chrome lipstick tube from the back, directing more light towards the LP. I think it is period correct, though. I had a few of the same a while back, but have since replaced them with the "lipstick tubes". :D

Believe W&N sell a variant/replacement and Hella 001378031, 1378 Series, 95385 seems like an available substitute with cover mounted above base rather than below. No experience with either, but was looking recently at options too FWIW.
