It's a little like Woot but with BMW parts. Today's special is the Horseshoe seal under hood at base of windshield.

I do door seals. There is a little trick to them involving a dremel and a grinding wheel with one section where a strategic relief of rubber comes out from the back side. I hate having to slam doors shut- hate it.
Once the slice/valley comes out they are fine.

I’ll take one, unless someone has a greater need before Don pulls the trigger. Mine could use updating, but it’s functional. Please jump in front of me if you’re w/o one or need it for a resto.

Jay, if you really mean what you offered I’d love to take you up on that. Mine is completely trashed and looks horrible on the repaint...

Hi don. Do you have similar trick for the under hood rubbers? I recently bought both from walloth nesch and now the hood doesn't close as flush as it used to. Is it just a question of them softening up over time or do you have any tips? Cheers simon

Might be the hood was adjusted with the worn rubbers in mind and now with fresh the adjustment is faulty.
I have a car in now with fresh rubber from Walloth and the fit is fine.
