Highs 
: while scouring the trunk area and upgrading the electric fuel pump, low and behold, I found both plastic/rubber shims that go between the door pull and wood. PO must have lost them during the original resto. I thought I was going to have to live w/o these!
Lows :x : after replacing all three power steering hoses, it appears there is still a small (one or two drips per day) leak of PS fluid aparently coming from the lower seal on the steering box (where the drop arm attaches).
