Genesis of the E3 concept

Digging around today, looking for history on Neue Klasse design and the works of Giovanni Michelotti, I found this drawing, credited to Michelotti for the 1500, 1961. It looks more New Six than Neue Klasse. Nevertheless, pretty cool conceptual art...

it's a screen grab from a low resolution PDF of a magazine article. The image is from Giovanni Michelotti's archive. There is no high resolution image out there.

Ha! Oh, man..that's a cool site! I'm in trouble now... A full size E3 would be way too cool. Looks like I'll be doing some stuff for my kids' rooms!
