WTB , sending unit for 74 tank !
I opened one of them up to clean and inspected it and the sliding float contacts is all corroded and destroyed .
Thank you!

I’ve got one that came out of my 74 coupe when I converted to fuel injection. In very good condition.
If you’re interested I could shoot you some pictures tomorrow.

No NOS units left, sorry.

I only have one used unit. It had a broken wire and was rusted.
I resoldered the wire and had the unit bright yellow zinced. Didn't come out very nice & I still have to check if the resistance is within working specifications.

If it doesn't function, it'll end up in the garbage & It means the float is available if you want.

If you replaced the very thin wire, I would suspect you would get different resistance! That wire is a really unique wire, very resilient to chemicals including weaker acids, I am rather impresssed by its quality and strength!
I can difnatly use the float with double connecting prongs!
Thanks Erik!
Best wishes!
