If you have a few watch this video. The benefits of the tech is really cool. Smaller, lower profile head. No cam drive. Full control of each valve. No need for a pre-cat. No need for a turbo waste gate, full control of what gas goes to to the turbo. You can use the valves as a throttle so no TB. Super cool tech.


It already has by Koenigsegg, although Freevalve is their sister company. Expect to see it on 25 cars or so next year. :) Pretty awesome though. Someone make an M30 head!

I remember reading about this technology about 20 years ago, but at the time the control technology was not up to the task. Looks like the technology finally is mature enough for the task.
