I have owned this vehicle since 1994.
I used this car for 2 summers & stored it with the idea of getting it restored in the near future. Every year since then I have had other commitments (buying properties / families etc)..
It has now come to the stage where I must finally admit I will never get round to finding the time or the money to give this beautiful car what it deserves.
The car has not been driven since 1996.
The exhaust manifold had blown, the brakes were due to be replaced.
There was a small fuel leak in the fuel line. Other than that the car was mechanically sound - BUT this was in 1996!
As for the paint work, I discovered the roof had a fair bit of filler in it.
Rust has now set in around the car & the drivers door is pretty poor.
Drivers front indicator lens broken.
I sent the vehicle up to Jaymic in Norfolk in 2002 for a restoration quote, unfortunately due to my business commitments I did not go ahead with any work. The car was returned to me with the sills taken out & left inside the car!
There is a fair bit of paper history with this car.
