Finally started on the bottom of the car and AC component upgrade install-took for ever but here we are.

we dropped the whole rear end, and found these crusty rear axle carrier rubber Support brackets, I think they need to be replaced :) , 2 on order, now or never kind of replacement

Did I read somewhere, someone is printing the side covers? I’ll need to repair these for sure.

All new steering rods are in, new subframe frame hardware replaced, new front shocks, new rear axles and cad plated hardware replaced, new rear brake lines, new rear subframe bushings on the way back on, floor pan cleaned up and some new Bed liner material sprayed. Headed to alignment next.

Of course, all this work shines a lite on how dirty the oil pan is and the power steering pump bracket will need to come out and cad plated along with the oil pan hardware. Ay yay yay. Coupes are very needy lol.

Gettin close to completion and will be going on BAT; once the finishing touches are complete, but here’s a sneak peek.

72 CSI, 5 speed, Polaris, red, satin finish wood.
new carpet, new paint, new leather, new head liner, new wood veneers, new seals on the windshield front, back, trunk and engine bay, some old seals reused around doors and window sills. (4 speed also included) and all new STICKERS :) lol.

I was trying to finish it for mid summer, but some things are out of your hands.

2 to 4 weeks out.
