My personal rule on the caps: 7 series and up, closed. 3 series and down, open. 5 and 6 series, debatable and color dependent.

I like closed caps.

I like closed caps also, but less so on an e9. The closed caps look pretty decent with no cap and the centers painted black. I’ve done this before on a set that I had. I think that @Gransin did the same.

What to do with this car? It’s a 226xxxx car, so a 3.0 csi.
Purchased 20 years ago with a carbureted engine and an automatic tranny.
Lucky for me it has a CARB sticker as a 2 bbl 3.0 engine registered in Cali.
I think Mike Burger did a smart move by sticking a hot rod engine in his.
Either bring back to csi or euro 3.5 Megasquirt with cam?
you are King of MegSquirt, how could you go any other way?
MegaSquirt stroker engine!!

Lots of m90’s got shipped in.
I’m doing 5 right now. The fun one is Gary’s stroked, bored, 10.5 : 1 compression custom pistons to fit a b35 head, ported stubs with big tubes and with Schrick cam and new Stahl headers.
and yes...Megasquirt.
pretty much everything ...
