Cosmetic improvements to front seat rails

Has anyone painted or considered painting the front seat rails? I’ve cleaned mine up but still feel like they’d be so much better if painted black. But not sure if it makes sense to do given the roller mechanism.

Appreciate your thoughts.

had mine chromed that look grat except there covered by the trim yet they will always stay clean

A simple clear zinc plating makes them look stock and brand new. Just have them extended and tell the plater to keep them that way.

Here are some 2002 ones that I just had plated. If you send them out , wire them open because as they go thru the process, they will close up. Had to send mine in twice because I did not wire them open the first time

Thanks both. HB Chris, did you consider black zinc plating? I know that’s not stock but I feel it would look so much better.
