Installing new core plugs, I have them flush to the block, do they need to go a little past flush? I can't find any spec in the manual. Thanks.

I put a little silicone around the outside lip of the frost plug, little extra help on sealing.

I smeared a trace of Dirko on the back half of the sides of the plug to do this as well. This way sealant doesn’t ooze out the front. The interwebs have ppl who swear by either the dry or sealant methods. I chose half of the latter
