You should post that over on FAQ NK threads...
It says "no engine", but the shifter is in place with the original shift knob
Cool...

It would say "Stripped" if the engine were missing and it's also sitting too low in the front to be missing. I'm assuming they didn't know how to open the hood.

It’s an early chassis 2000, and it’s a Ti too. The 2000 has horizontal tail lights except for the 2000 Ti which has the 1800Ti style vertical lights. Looks like it’s all there too!

It's got title issues as the listing says it can't be titled and must be scrapped. We see this in Texas after hurricanes, flood cars are marked in a similar way. Does that only mean NY state? Do other states abide by such title branding?

Good catch. I saw the Doc Type and didn't think anything of it, but registering it in another state is different in each state. Most DMV databases don't talk to each other so it all depends on what the state requires in physical paperwork to re-register a vehicle. In CA, if you have a Junk Slip for a vehicle it can be revised in CA, so the title of documents don't always tell the story.

Maine is cool, no title needed for cars older than 1995. Any title for older vehicles is just a 'show title' if issued by the state and verified by police VIN verification.

Hi Andrew, Does this mean that a pre-'95 salvage titled car could be purchased and registered as a clean vehicle there? Essentially starting over with a clean title?

Except author is clueless regarding headlights. Only the Ti version of the 2000 had single headlights, all other 2000s had square lights in Europe and quad lights in the US. It is also the only 2000 with vertical taillights.

I have trouble believing the bid is currently $2,250 for this one. Makes that $800 tii that much sweeter, yes? :D
