coolant flow diagram with carb mods

Not sure if I will phrase this question correctly, but does anyone have a successful coolant flow/hose layout/diagram for a car that has triple side draft carbs? Seems once the manifolds are swapped from original, and the carbs do not require water/coolant for the choke, things begin to change. I am trying to do some homework to ensure the entire block and head (especially at the rearward cylinders) flows well and stays cool.

Seems my prior posts on this have been lost to the Photobucket fiasco. Here is my original installation, following Steve's suggestion on the 635 hoses:

The heater shut off valve did not work in that location, and was relocated as shown here:

I am sure this is also covered elsewhere, but since we're right here: source/origin for the heater bypass? I wasn't planning on using one, but I think it makes sense. I remember seeing a post from Rob Siegel on this, too.
