i think after years of storage, that my cars clutch is seized
indications for this is that when i press the clutch, jack the rear tires up
and then try to spin the rear wheel while in gear...(doesn't turn!)

anyone know a remedy for this?

Did you get the clutch bled?

If clutch is not disengaging, your bleeding procedure is flawed.
Take care of one thing at at time.
It shifted once, from a previous post, it will work again.

I am not surprised. Your clutch is not disengaging!

I am going through the same thing right now. I believe the splined part of the clutch disc has rusted to the transmission input shaft? It is currently soaking in PB Blaster? Otherwise I will have to pull the transmission.

My CS does this periodically after resting for the winter. I push it out of the garage, put it in reverse, start the engine, accelerate a little, push in the clutch and push the brakes. The clutch breaks free of the flywheel and is OK for the rest of the summer.

Clutch disc has rusted to flywheel, common on stored cars, get it to run, drive it with clutch pedal in and accelerate and decelerate, it should break free.

David, please call me at my shop 603-228-2888
