When I was in Monterey last weekend I talked to the representatives of BMW Classic group and they mentioned that they are releasing aluminum hoods and trunk lids this year. Has anyone heard any update?

I just got mine (Christmas present to myself). From order time to arrival in Sydney, Australia it took 4 weeks because they were a bit short staffed over Christmas they told me. I must admit I did find them very helpful and responsive to all my questions.

Hoods are on two week backlog.
