P.S. That is an M1 style shift knob. I don't think they were around too much earlier than the M1 as e12s or Luxury e3s didn't have them but interesting....what other "stuff" has been added to your car?

I have one of those M1 style shift knobs, thought it was an early 6 series type one.

My swans neck is mounted just below the console and fixed into the side of the trans tunnel
