"The original intake and runners were reused to retain factory like aesthetics."

Then why the awful plenum and valve cover paint job and aftermarket air cleaner? A series II Bat would also have a third support on trunk wing. Will be interesting to see if it sells.

Ray Korman is a hero of mine.
But.....
That engine bay is a 50,000 dollar mistake.
D-Jet Throttle body on a 1992 Motronic AFM?
Hot Air Intake?
Junk yard relays?
3 foot long coil wire?
Swedish 7mm hose clamps?
Motronic engine management with D-Jet cold start?
Motronic valve cover support studs connected to nothing?
They should have left it alone....

sure they are wrong under the hood, but none of those are insurmountable to find. and not terribly hard to fix. now finding an original 3 vertical element rear spoiler??? probably not so easy.

question is ... will it sell or what will the bidding get up to? i think we need a bidding pool

Don't mean to pile on but

I've seen a Korman CSL restoration, and this one doesn't make sense. Look at the paint job in the trunk. They just shot whit over everything. Couldn't they have at least removed or attempted to tape off the trunk light switch.

Given how much restored BAT's sell for

even $100k doesn't seem unreasonable for a needy BAT. Invest another $60kor so to sort out the body, and correct all the little details. You'd still be at the low end of today's market for a #1 condition BAT.

Too rich for my blood

sold?

It was removed early, so I presume it sold for a fair price.

Anybody have any idea what happened?
