Guess we will all eat humble pie if it sells :)
Just how many 'barn' or 'paddock' find E9s are there left in the US?
There's basically none in Australia and if you do find one it ends up with muskets at dawn across about 20 potential buyers.

It will sell, maybe not at that price but Wes's comment is bang on. When the realisation that there are few left worth restoring, and it clicks about the low build number and survival rate, prices will escalate further.

Maybe a set of those $3,000 rear tail lights will make a difference.

5 years ago i could buy a coupe like that one for $1500 … and i didn't do it because of the rust..... damned.
I bought my "very good" red one for $11.000 , even throw away the perfect engine and bumpers at that time..... seems a lot has changed….

Well, it hasn't sold so you can still probably buy a coupe like that for 1,500.00, ugh!
