Hi all,
Quick intro.. I have not long purchased this part restored 72.. was originally Ceylon and a London delivery.. it has made its way to Australia at some point.. now for me to finish it..

previous owner has had it painted black with what I would call an interesting gold flake.. (homage to the original colour??) will change it one day..

Had commenced set up with Aplina Plenum and Triple Weber 45's... I am in the process of working the finishing solution to this..

I may eventually convert to 5sp.. I will see how the Auto performs..

Get all the trims, chrome and new rubbers fitted...

I have purchased a set of 17" Style 5 replicas (dished) for the interim..

ill keep everyone posted with updated... I will no doubt be requiring your assistance :)

Cheers
Aron

Aron,

Welcome to the forum.

Your car looks like an interesting project. I would recommend the manual conversion - it changes the whole personality of these cars.

I own an inka CS in Brisbane with all the Alpina B2 parts on it, with pic. I was obviously wrong in thinking that I had the only Alpina air box in Australia!

It's also interesting to see that you have rear headrests.

I heard about this car for sale in West Australia - is this where you are?

Cheers,

Rod
