Would consider converting to automatic if I could find a six or eight speed auto that would fit.
Then I would have to deal with the computer controls. I have enjoyed these coupes for a very long time
but it's time for the grown up kids to leave home.
BTW. the red has won best in show three...
The acceleration in second, third and fourth gears is unbelievable quick. First gear is useless, it revs to 8000 rpm
before the pedal hits the floor. I usually start in second gear shift to third then straight to fifth gear. Top speed using
Turner Chip and GPS is estimated to around 168 MPH...
I am at the point now where I can't drive my manual shift coups anymore
so I have decided to sell both. Go to the CS Registry and search for vin number
2270173 to view both cars. I have driven the blue one for the past 45 years and have
owned the red one for 32 years. The blue one was restored...
Does anyone know if the rubber and felt that goes between the rear window
and the chrome strip is still available.? It mounts on the chrome strip. I can't seem
to find a part number for it. Thanks.
I made mine out of carbon fiber. It actually replaced the entire trunk skin. I was tired of repairing the trunk lip. I still have the mold for it and may be tempted to make a few more.
It can be viewed at

Has anyone found a newer OEM heater blower motor to replace our failure prone Unit.
In forty years I have had to repair it at least six times. Most common problems are, sticky
brushes, seized shaft and broken retainer on fan blades. A brush less version would be
preferred.
