Another sticker, this from a '74 3.0S. Note the former options that are now standard -- along with the price bump. Still gotta charge for that antifreeze.
Not mine. Pulled from a current car for sale ad. There are more of these posted somewhere on this site but I couldn't find them to add this one. I've found them useful for historical reference.
You didn't ask about this, but 123 distributors have horrible clips holding (some of the time) the dist cap. They are flimsy and get loose easily. allowing the cap to pop off. Corporate knows this and won't fix the issue. I wrap a zip tie around the cap holding the tops of the clips.
Just had this same issue on my 72 Euro 3.0S (3/72 build). Really stumped me, my tech, and several vendors. Thanks to HBChris for steering me to this thread. I had been trying to use the old gland nut. Tried the new one, scraped off a little paint, and got it threaded.
While we're talking...
The driver mat they made for my E9 had this issue. I complained (politely) and they made me a new one at no charge. I've bought 4 sets from them since. Small discount for members of Hagerty Driver's Club.

I have 2 (R and L) REAR side windows (not from in the doors) with some of the mechanism attached. Make a donation to the site and you can have these for the cost of shipping. Happy holidays!

Just saw a trailer for an upcoming Bob Marley biopic movie, coming in 2024. Titled "One Love." Looks like they rounded up at least one E3 for a cameo appearance.

I continue to be impressed with what seems to be a very active classic BMW community in the Netherlands -- not just Oldenzaal but several other smaller specialist firms putting out quality work. Erik, is it something in the water?

Maybe all you guys on the left coast already know this, but I just had an excellent chat with Jim at Mesa Performance today. Needed some master/slave cylinder and a/c parts. I got those and some great advice for my recent Euro 72 3.0S. Highly recommended.
Needed to jump start the coupe after it had been sitting (this was before float chargers). Rolled it out, raised the hood, attached the cables, and started the car. With the engine vibration, I watch the hood start to close in excruciating slow motion. Bam, nice new dent protruding where the...
