Tod,
I'm glad that you appreciate what I've done to my E3. It's still a "work in progress" as I'd like to get a substantial increase in horsepower but haven't found a way to achieve what I'm looking for that fits my budget.
I'm in need of a fuel tank sending unit for my 1976 3.0 Si. While the sending unit from an E9 will fit it's a little shorter and does not give accurate readings. I believe an early E12 unit might work also
Thanks in advance...
I was surprised to see the photo of my E3 above. I had the Alpina replica air-dam mounted to the car then went over it with a layer of fiberglass. It was installed about 13 years ago and is holding up pretty well
I had mine done recently by leatherwheels.com and was quite happy with both their work and the timeliness of getting the wheel back. Not cheap but I've found you usually get what you pay for- I paid around $250

He makes a pretty nice center console cupholder . I have one and it looks great and is quite functional. Sorry I can't post a photo
While getting some minor paint work done the body shop lost the hardware that attaches the plastic deflector. Does anyone have spares that they could sell me? I've been unable to find the part numbers so that would also be helpful.
Thanks in advance...
I have purchased engines, differentials, and cams from Metric Mechanic going back over 20 years. All my experiences have been quite positive. Jim has always been very responsive to my questions and their products are all first class.
I removed my front bumper and added an air dam similar to the photos above. Looks great but you have to be very aware of speed bumps and parking lot stops in order not to damage said air dam.I tried loading photos but my files are to big. Shoot me your email and I'll send you some pics..
I had issues with getting enough vacuum when I was running triple webers. My mechanic installed a hydroboost system from a 535 that worked fine. I did have issues with the "brake bomb" leaking but I think it was due to the age of the part which was purchased used out of a wreck.
I've got one with the pump that you can have for postage. It has a small hole that I think can be fixed and the ridge that the cap snaps onto needs some love. Shoot me a PM with your email and I'll send you some pics.
The sending unit on my 1976 3.0 Si has cracked causing fuel to leak into the trunk and fumes to come into the passenger cabin.
Will a sending unit from an earlier model E3 or an early E12 work?
If anybody has a spare that they're willing to sell please PM me.
Thanks in advance
