I think my grilles are still original chromed plastic: has the chrome to be removed mechanically or maybe has electroplating shop a procedure to reverse the process in order to remove chrome from plastic?

Hello Alberto, what I supposed was exactly what you told! To do a new one, a old one (nearly perfect) is needed, in order to make a cast. And this is the first problem…the second one is that shipping cost from America to Europe for such a large part lets the deal being hardly possible!

This is my part, really damaged.

Fiberglass could be a nice option, the only problem should be to have a die, or a perfect part to obtain one.

It is incredible noone thought about re-doing it through 3d tecnique: it is a very requested part!
