Does anyone know if the OEM gaskets for the rear windows are still being manufactured or is what’s available mainly new old stock?
Some of the past threads have also mentioned about the gaskets splitting in the corners.
The OEM one I have is only 5 years old and the rubber gasket in the...
I couldn’t agree with you more Markos! Keshav is one of the most knowledgeable, humble and down to earth members Ive had the pleasure of dealing with. If I was in the market for a CSL Keshav’s would be the one . Cheers Peter
Not really sure what’s going on with the Verona CSL.
These are the e9’s that have sold (or appear to have been sold) over the past 6-12 months on carsales
It seems we are down to three e9’s for sale on Carsales.com in Australia.
There two 1974 3.0csa ‘s ($79k and $95k) and one 1972 3.0CSL ($142k).
The other 3.0CSL seems to have sold.
Thanks guys, all worth addressing. I’ll get some softer genuine pads and also check the pressure regulator . I have a 1974 Mercedes 107 (280SL) and the brake system is fantastic. All 4 disk brakes grab very evenly with a great even feel without having to stand on the brake pedal. I’m sure BMW’s...

I have overhauled all the brake Calipers, installed a new Brake booster, new lines and new brake fluid and the brake...
Finally there appears to be some movement in the flooded Australian e9 market with Two listings today having “Hold” written next to them and showing “Sold” when clicked onto their link..
Sorry Frankie, I didn’t end up buying the newer ones. However it would be very good to know if they are the same or different. Perhaps someone on the forum may know the answer now?
Here’s another that’s just popped up on Carsales

Hmm the ad from CTS on Carsales was taken down last night with a notification saying “sold “ lol. The ad is still up on their own CTS page. We will see in the next couple of days lol
In my experience, Carsales has been pretty accurate with their notifications (especially if the buyer puts “Sold” on the add rather than “on hold”. This CSL has a beautiful pedigree so it wouldn’t surprise me if Classic Throttle Shop purchased the car as part of their stock. Either way I can...
I’m not sure about that. There’s a very good chance it sold because I had an alert from Carsales 2 days before it Sold saying that interest was increasing.. 2 days later the car has SOLD written on the ad
